About Shining Stars Performing Arts
Founded by passionate and experienced educators, Shining Stars is a performing arts community for children based in Dubai, UAE.

Our director, Carla, who leads the Shining Stars classes, has over 12 years experience in Primary Education both in Ireland and the UAE. Since moving to Dubai in 2015, she has been working in elite Performing Arts schools where she has directed school productions, conducted choirs and led school instrument groups. One of her greatest achievements to date is taking a choir to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City where students had the opportunity to showcase their musical talents on one of the world's most famous stages.

With high-quality music, drama and dance classes, we provide a safe, fun and exciting learning experience. Our aspiration is to provide students with an environment where they feel encouraged to reach their full potential whether it is to develop their self esteem, simply make new friends or with the dreams of having a performing arts career in the future.

What is performing arts?
The performing arts is when you take the skills of music, dance and drama and merge them together. It is a truly magical experience for children! There has been endless research which supports the huge benefits associated with an education in Performing Arts. Children get to express their emotions, they get to expand and use their imaginations and with that, they get to develop their own, unique voice! Our aim in every lesson is to help develop children's confidence and give them performance skills which they will use for the rest of their lives!

Do you put on any performances?
Yes! In our Mini Stars & Junior Stars classes we rehearse material from a variety of musicals which we showcase to our parents at the end of each term!
